Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health in Pacific, Missouri, is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for the night shift. You will be the first line of defense, patrolling the Pacific location and controlling access to ensure a safe, secure environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to respond quickly to alarms and incidents. Prior security experience and CPR/first aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of CCTV surveillance and conflict management.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response preferred.
• Strong observational skills and alertness for long shifts.
• Excellent reporting and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Verify credentials at access points for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Observe activity with CCTV and identify security issues.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
• Conduct routine inspections and report irregularities.
• Maintain logs of daily activities and access records.
• Assist loss prevention by spotting suspicious behavior.
