Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for outpatients, ER, and inpatients, including night coverage three nights per week.

Under supervision of physicians, you will operate ultrasound equipment, explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, maintain records, and support sterile technique during invasive procedures as needed, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent required.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility with timely exam.
• BLS certification required.
• State licensure as a Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients, explains method of procedure and ensures patient comfort.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
• Keeps accurate records and helps with scheduling and patient flow.
