American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a high-acuity 16-bed Emergency Department in Mount Pleasant, Texas. The role requires a TX or compact RN license, TNCC, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1 year of ED experience. It is a 13-week, full-time travel assignment with a nights schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The position offers competitive pay with lodging and meal stipends. Start date ASAP and potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only).
• TNCC certification required.
• 1 year of experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education.
• Delegate and coordinate care assignments with other providers as needed.
