Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Alabama. ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience are required; BLS is required, ACLS preferred.

Licensure must be current if applicable, and experience with MRA/MRV/MRCP is expected. You will perform a broad range of MRI studies on Philips and Siemens systems, covering adult and pediatric cases, with a 7:00 PM–3:30 AM schedule and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI Technologist experience.
• ARRT MR and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience performing MRA, MRV and MRCP studies.
• Experience with contrast media prep and administration.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and PPE protocols.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Experience in large healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in the MRI department performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Patient population includes adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, pediatric care.
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, MSK, cardiovascular.
• Utilizes Philips and Siemens MRI equipment.
• 5x8 night shift: 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM.
• No on-call requirements.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Facility requires address at least 90 miles away; locals not eligible.
• Prior staff cannot return for 10 years after separation.
• RTO limited to 2 requests per contract.
• Travelers on successive contracts require a 6-month break unless exceptions apply.
• Pre-start orientation modules required.
