Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care in the Trauma Stepdown unit.

This on-site, full-time role covers 3 nights per week (12-hour shifts) and involves direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes. The ideal candidate has 1 year of RN experience, a valid Florida RN license or an eNLC multistate license, and current BLS; additional certifications are required

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP for NICU.

• Assesses patient needs and revises a plan of care based on responses.
• Functions as patient and family advocate.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Documents care per regulatory standards including education, meds, and safety.
• Prioritizes care based on Evidence-Based Practice Standards.
• Maintains attendance and compliance with policies.

Kenntnisse

1 year RN experience

Ausbildung

Graduate of an approved school of nursing

Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
