Job summary

Iron Oak Energy Solutions in the United States is seeking a Night Shift Transload Operator to oversee railcar and truck transloading, ensuring safe and productive operation of the facility. You will load bulk product using conveyors and mobile equipment, coordinate with drivers and the corporate office, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires mechanical maintenance aptitude, ability to read and compute data, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative mechanical maintenance on on-site systems and heavy equipment.
• Ability to complete written documentation, records, and basic computer skills.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools.
• Effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Team player with high self-motivation requiring minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as plant schedule may fluctuate.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and be at least 18 years old.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks from railcars in yard using conveyors and mobile equipment.
• Communicate with drivers, the transloading team, and the corporate office.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Enter and maintain inventory and activity data in the appropriate system.
• Prepare and forward reports to corporate office as needed.
• Ensure office equipment is maintained and serviced.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Receive and inventory incoming parts and supplies, coordinate packing slips with purchase orders.
• Perform duties safely, observing all safety and health rules.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and JSA’s, interfacing with relief operator for updates.
• Proactively maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance on equipment (daily inspections, greasing, cleaning).
• Assist with general housekeeping including waste sand clearance and facility cleaning.
