Job summary

SpiveyServices in Virginia is seeking a Night Traffic Control Assistant to support safe and efficient traffic flow around construction zones, public events, or road maintenance sites. You will set up and remove traffic control devices, direct vehicles and pedestrians, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role suits someone who is alert, dependable, and able to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drugs screen.
• Must have 0 or plus DMV driving points with a valid Virginia Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Truck driver experience with large trucks (18' to 24', Non-CDL).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safe work zones using the proper equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the safety of all.
• Manage traffic flow effectively.
