Belvedere Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, New York, Boulder, and Singapore. Riverside Capital Markets (RCM) is a joint venture between our five founding partners and Belvedere Trading. Our teams specialize in Market Making and Quantitative Trading in Equity & ETF Options, ETFs, Futures and Futures Options. We have teams based in New York, Chicago and remote locations that utilize both internal and external software solutions for trading. Join our dynamic group as a Night Trader, where you'll play a pivotal role in our global trading operations during the overnight hours of 8 PM to 6 AM. You'll engage in dynamic market-making activities across a diverse set of products, including commodities, interest rates, ETFs, and equity index options. Collaborating closely with our team, you'll contribute to the continual optimization of our proprietary trading systems, ensuring we maintain our competitive edge in the industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute trading strategies in a fast-paced environment, while being part of a team that values intellectual curiosity and innovative thinking.

What You'll Do

• Join team of night traders who manage risk and capture trading opportunities for all core market making desks
• Communicate with Position Managers on positional goals and execute trades
• Gain meaningful experience in position management and automated trading systems
• Learn to make independent decisions during an active marketplace
• Accelerate grasp of all position management tools that is necessary for advancement to high level roles at the firm

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of experience in a trading environment
• Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, with a strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in research and automation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with teammates at night and provide guidance for daytime traders
• Flexibility with personal schedule to work during Asian and/or European market hours

$100,000 - $150,000 a year

Work Schedule

This position will be based in New York with the option to work in a hybrid structure with a minimum of three days in the office.
