Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to alarms, and collaborate with RNs. The role supports ongoing patient monitoring on a 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shift at the Crawford Building in McKeesport, PA.

Formación

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass required competencies on education platform.
• Preferred background as LPN, paramedic or RN student with EKG training.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously watch and respond to alarms and ensure timely actions.
• Verify identification of rhythms and maintain EKG monitor alarms.
• Observe monitors and respond promptly to alarms.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, PRI, QRS, QTc, and rhythm.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
