Select Specialty Hospital seeks a Telemetry Technician/Monitor Tech to monitor patient rhythms, respond to alarms, and interpret EKGs. Night shifts are 12-hour from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in Belhaven, MS. Prior EKG training/experience is required; LPNs, paramedics, RN students encouraged to apply. Formación

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Pass all required competencies on the education platform.
• Preferred background as LPN, licensed paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor alarms and ensure timely responses to alarms.
• Continuously observe all monitors and respond to alarms promptly.
• Perform EKG interpretations including rate, rhythm, PRI, QRS, QT, ST, and rhythm analysis.
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
