Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of a monitor technician surveillance program or plan to complete within 90 days.
• 1 year EKG/monitor tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe, recognize, interpret, evaluate and document EKG tracings on telemetry patients.
• Detect deviations from patient norms and notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias.
• Operate telemetry monitoring system and ensure safe functioning of equipment.
