Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare experience with telemetry monitoring experience preferred or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Telemetry monitoring experience and/or education required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• No illegal drug use or alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Continual monitoring of telemetry units and promptly alerting appropriate personnel of significant changes in readings.
