Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician for Labor Delivery on a .9 FTE night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends).

You will support the surgeon and OR team by providing sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment while maintaining sterile technique. Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technology program and active certification.
• Military or Public Health Service program with ongoing CE (16 hours/2 years).
• Grandfathered work experience in ASC/hospital/government with CE (16 hours/2 years).
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and team during procedures with sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Maintain proper sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with all members of the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
