Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to perform receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting at a client site. This is a long-term temporary assignment with potential to convert to temp-to-hire; work requires ability to lift 50 lb and work independently or in a team.

Training occurs Mon-Fri 7a-3p, and hours include Sat/Sun 7pm-7am. duties include sweeping, dusting, organizing storeroom, issuing items to site staff, maintaining stock records, data entry, and basic

Qualifications

• 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn MS-Office, Vista, SX.e, Prophet 21.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming product; checks for damage and invoices.
• Sorts, labels, moves and stores items; optimizes crib space.
• Issues items to site employees; maintains issued/returned records.
• Enters stock data in a database; responds to inquiries about inventory levels.
• Performs cycle counts and prepares inventory reports.
• Inspects tools/equipment and reports wear or damage.
