Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Follows dress code.
• Follows established safety policies and procedures.
• Eyesight corrected to 20/20.
• Hearing corrected to normal range.
• Possess full range of motion on shoulders, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
• Has knowledge of total store operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily work assignments and priorities for store employees.
• Manage and motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure HR procedures are followed.
• Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
• Manage, maintain and report stock of merchandise and non-merchandise.
• Ensure upkeep and condition of all equipment and fixtures on premises.
• Oversee health and safety, security, and emergency systems and staff awareness.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and report to Store Manager.
• Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required.
• Receive and unload truck deliveries per guidelines and conduct store closing procedures.
