Job summary

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor quality assurance standards.
• Answer questions regarding products and respond with informed suggestions.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and ensure fresh products are available.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies and safety issues to management.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
