Job summary

With 2-3 years in retail and at least one year in a supervisory role, you will lead diverse teams, coordinate training, and promote career growth within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and customer service experience helpful.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
• Successful completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members; drive customer service and store sales.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to Meijer standards.
• Achieve P&L goals and maintain shrink within department.
• Ensure safety, training, and Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings.
