Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery products. You will move products from pallets to correct shelf locations, remove backstock, and dispose of waste in back-room areas.

You will work with leadership to finish assigned areas on time and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will interact with customers as needed, and overnight shifts may be required to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
