Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to assist in maintaining fresh and organized departments, interact with customers, and support store operations. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, assist customers with their needs, and help ensure food safety and quality standards are followed.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, have good listening and communication skills, and are comfortable using store technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
