Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products and assist customers, using technology to complete tasks accurately.

Join a family-oriented retailer serving communities across six states. This role offers weekly pay, a friendly team environment, and opportunities for advancement nationwide. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
