Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper #249 in Shawnee, KS is hiring an Overnight Stocker for part-time shifts. You will help customers by stocking shelves and displays quickly, accurately and with a friendly, courteous approach.

This non-exempt role reports to the Night Manager and requires adhering to Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards, safety, sanitation, and inventory procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must complete ongoing training per Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good numerical and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
• Unload shipments quickly and stock shelves without damaging merchandise.
• Keep back room and cooler/freezer areas neat and ready for new deliveries.
• Stock grocery shelves using UPC codes and face front display method.
• Support the inventory process by accurately counting and recording merchandise.
• Monitor products for damaged, un-saleable, or returnable items and follow damage procedures.
• Operate, clean and maintain equipment safely and competently.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate items accordingly.
• Keep work area clean and safe for customers and coworkers.
• Follow health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures.
