Job summary

H.E.B. in Austin is seeking a Night Stocker to join a high-functioning grocery/drug store team. You'll stock shelves across departments, learn product knowledge, and support nightly goals while maintaining safe, clean spaces.

This role requires physically demanding work, the ability to work overnights and weekends, good SOP understanding, and strong customer service. Training will include forklift operation and back‑room duties as you grow into future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of SOPs and emergency procedures.

• Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks and lift up to 86 lbs depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, refill displays and maintain clean, organized departments.
• Move heavy products, unload trucks, and assist with back room organization.
• Apply product knowledge to rotation dates and shelf labels.
• Support nightly store goals and work with a team mindset.
• Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
• May coach or train other stockers as needed.
