Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk in Ohio. The role supports Fresh departments, stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling includes nights, with 24–36 hours weekly and a starting wage of $15.90/hour, based on experience and union scale.

You’ll build customer connections, maintain appealing displays, and use store tech to perform tasks precisely, contributing to safe food handling and overall store excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
