Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Stat RN for full-time night shifts in Snellville, GA. The RN will serve as the primary contact for the STAT Team, respond to on-campus medical emergencies, and support critical care staff.

The role requires 2 years of critical care experience and GA RN licensure, ACLS, and BCLS certifications. The position emphasizes rapid assessment, teamwork with transplant teams, ongoing competency maintenance, and participation in clinical research opportunities

Qualifications

• 2 years critical care experience required.
• Georgia RN licensure required at hire.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required at hire.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary contact for STAT Team (Stabilization, Teaching, Assessment, Transport).
• Responds to all on-campus medical emergencies.
• Acts as clinical resource to critical care staff.
• Collaborates with Critical Care Patient Coordinator/Direct Admit/Heartlink staff.
• Performs patient surveillance/screening functions.
• Maintains professional development; maintains current competency file.
