Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA, seeks a dedicated snowmaking team member to operate and maintain snowmaking equipment behind the scenes, ensuring safe, high-quality snow surfaces for skiers and riders. The role requires night hours (10pm–10am), a valid driver's license, fluency in English, and the ability to work outdoors in cold alpine conditions while meeting weekly hour targets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Shift will be from 10pm to 10am.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
• Able and willing to work at least 6 days/60 hours a week.
• Able to lift & carry up to 75 lbs.
• Basic hand tool knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
• Assist in clearing/shoveling the parking areas and common areas of natural snow.
• Other duties as assigned.
