Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the Sleep Lab team for overnight studies and PAP titrations.

The role requires independent night shift work, with training and weekends as assigned. Eligible candidates must hold RPSGT or RST, and BLS certification, with RTC/RRT credentials welcome. Sleep experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current RPSGT or RST credential.
• Current BLS certification.
• Independent work on night shifts.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license and RRT credential.
• Sleep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies and PAP therapy titrations.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and document physiologic data.
• Score sleep studies according to guidelines.
• Educate patients on sleep testing procedures and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and study records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for quality care.
• Troubleshoot technical and patient care concerns during overnight testing.
• Ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards.
