Job summary

Sleep RX LLC in Salem, VA is urgently seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep experience for a full-time overnight position at our sleep lab. This role involves providing sleep services and facilitating diagnostic testing and patient care.

Pay is $35 to $45 per hour with a competitive benefits package. The overnight schedule runs from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or higher required; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Certification: RPSGT or RRT required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience: Prior sleep lab experience as RPSGT or RRT.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; vision and lifting requirements as stated.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; apply electrodes, sensors, and masks per protocols.
• Record patient activities, monitor study quality, document events.
• Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Adhere to safety regulations and lab procedures.
