Sleep RX LLC in West Islip, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift to deliver diagnostic sleep testing and patient care.

Applicants must hold RPSGT and current state licensure; shift is 8:00 PM–6:00 AM. Pay ranges from $40 to $60 hourly based on experience. The position includes benefits and opportunities for advancement. This role necessitates the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and prior RPSGT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or higher; accredited Polysomnography program required.
• RPSGT certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience as an RPSGT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
