Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a position focused on data collection and analysis of sleep studies for patients aged 3 years and older. The role involves sampling and documenting sleep events, electrode setup, and coordinating routine office tasks in a medical setting.

Shift: 7 pm - 7:30 am. Prior experience in sleep disorders centers is preferred; CPR certification is required to perform critical monitoring duties. Rotating shifts are part of this position.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED.
• Experience in a medical setting/sleep disorders center preferred.
• Must be Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Prepares and apply electrodes, sensors, and therapies including, but not limited to, positive airway pressure, supplemental oxygen, upper airway stimulation, home sleep testing devices
• Identifies and documents patient events including, but not limited to, sleep stages, respiratory events, EKG arrhythmias, positional changes, therapeutic interventions
• Corrects poor study/signal quality timely and appropriately
• Performs common office tasks encountered in a medical setting including, but not limited to, data entry, scheduling, messaging
