Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and retain written procedures.
• Knowledge of general and job-specific safety practices.
• Ability to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot, cold, humid, slippery environments).
• Ability to identify hazards and report them appropriately.
• Acceptable safety record.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, Isometric drawings, Exploded-view drawings.
• Understanding and use of Hand tools & Power tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and prevent injuries by following SOPs and policies.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping of the facility.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment under supervision.
• Respond to mechanical line calls and complete work orders.
• Order and ensure spare parts availability for plant systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and operable work area.
• Accurately fill out daily log and communicate with Supervisors and team.
• Read training materials and equipment manuals and complete paperwork timely.
• Utilize downtime to maximize productive work time.
