J.R. Simplot Company is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee the mechanical operation of plant equipment during the 7pm–7am pitman shift at the GF Plant in Grand Forks.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, routine preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to ensure continuous production. The ideal candidate will have an AAS in Industrial Maintenance (or 2 years of maintenance experience) and be comfortable reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and following detailed

Competenze

• Must read and comprehend written procedures.
• Knowledge of general and job-specific safety practices.
• Ability to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot, cold, humid, slippery).
• Ability to identify hazards and report them appropriately.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, Isometric drawings, Exploded-view drawings.
• Understanding and use of Hand tools & Power tools.

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment under supervision.
