Job summary

Rotobec Inc. in Littleton, NH is seeking a Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding, cutting, shaping, and measuring tools. Read blueprints to ensure precision and conformance to specifications.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to perform MIG welding on steel components, with setup and calibration of equipment for each unit. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in a related field or 3+ years of comparable manufacturing experience
• Preferred certification in blueprint reading or equivalent coursework
• Proven ability to perform high-quality welding in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Must pass a welding test as part of the hiring process

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components needed for production
• Manually weld fabricated parts
• Execute overhead, horizontal, vertical, and continuous welds with precision
• Perform MIG welding operations on steel components
• Properly set up and calibrate welding equipment for each unit
• Read, interpret, and follow engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate machinery, tools, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
• Meet or exceed production targets as established by Production Foreman
• Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area
• Ensure all components are correctly fitted and aligned before welding
• Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Participate and successfully complete all required safety training
• Willing to cross-train as needed
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Production Foreman
