Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and prepare weld surfaces for 1G certified welding.
• Operate welding equipment and related tools safely to meet quality standards.
• Possess precise measurement and unit conversion skills and document results.
• Certified in welding to 1G standards and able to adapt to process changes.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and prepare weld surfaces for welding to 1G standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ironworker, band saw, drill press and related tools.
• Accurately measure using tape measures and convert units.
• Safely handle materials with forklifts and jib cranes following procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and maintain attendance.
