Job summary

Big Tex Trailers seeks a Weld Supervisor to lead a team of welders on the production floor in Texas. You will coach welders, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of trailers.

You will read blueprints, supervise daily operations, and partner with Quality and Maintenance to optimize efficiency while maintaining high standards.

You will identify and resolve production issues, manage resources, and uphold OSHA safety practices in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and fabrication techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting welding defects and production issues.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems preferred.
