Paylocity in Tempe, AZ seeks a Weigh up Operator to support manufacturing operations. Training will occur during the day shift, with a transition to night shift after onboarding to ensure continuous production.

The role emphasizes accurate reading of specifications and careful handling of weights and measures to maintain product quality. The ideal candidate will read work orders, document weights and times, verify materials, and follow SOPs while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications, including materials, weights, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Document and record information such as product weights and production times.
• Obtain specific mixing information from work orders or batch records.
• Verify correct materials are loaded into equipment by signing batch records.
• Examine materials and ingredients to ensure consistent standards.
• Provide notification of any issues to the Vitamin Production Supervisor or Management, and Quality Assurance.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment between production batches.
• Set up and observe mixing equipment for proper operation.
• Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production, setup, operation, and cleanup procedures.
• Perform duties safely and report any unsafe conditions or actions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Assist in other duties as needed, including reading and using scales and large scoops.

As a Weighs Up and Measures Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate manufacturing of our company's products. This position involves reading specifications, operating equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with standard procedures.

Requirements

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use a pallet jack.

• Required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

• Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
