Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions within our warehouse.
The Warehouse Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet breakdown, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
- Performs housekeeping duties, keeps warehouse areas, loading dock, and trailers clean and safe, reports unsafe conditions immediately.
- Performs daily safety checks of forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Performs damage control checks on received items and contacts supervisor for removal if necessary.
- Replaces batteries requiring recharging, completes vehicle inspection checklists, follows safety policies.
- Reviews work schedule and prepares for operations.
- Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
- Meets productivity and accuracy standards.
- Secures equipment and completes paperwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to work scheduled times and overtime
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly
- Ability to lift, stack, and pull products weighing 10-35 pounds, up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
