C&S Wholesale Grocers, a leading supply chain partner, is hiring a Warehouse Unloader for our York, PA location. The role involves unloading inbound trailers, recording receiving data, and moving merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Expect a fast-paced environment with training and full-time hours on 3rd shift. Starting rate is $19/hr with potential to earn $20+/hr after training; benefits from day 1 include medical, vision, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures.
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others.
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities.
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving product, recording code dates and breaking down pallets according to procedures.
• Using forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise.
• Maneuvering pallets from the dock to correct aisles.
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and product.
• Performing equipment inspections and completing forms.
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weights and heights.
