Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving to meet productivity and quality goals. You will read schedules, move items to storage, and assist with loading and palletizing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and are able to operate a pallet jack and forklift while following safety protocols. This role offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Awareness of safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule and orders to determine items to move.
• Move materials from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity and type.
• Operate electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift as required.
• Ascend up to 25 ft on cherry picker using safety harness.
• Communicate with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators.
• Maintain safety practices for truck and trailer loading.
• Prepare orders for shipping and label pallets.
