Job summary

Final Mile Systems in Duncan, SC is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support the Night Operations at a busy crossdock facility. You will help the Manager ensure efficient freight movement and safety standards.

The role requires leadership of a diverse team, adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, and use of logistics software. A forklift operation ability is needed, with shift hours 6pm–3am, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervision in terminal or dock operations.
• Proven leadership in high-volume freight handling.
• Knowledge of crossdock, LTL shipping and freight flow.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and OSHA compliance.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification or ability to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crossdock terminal operations, inbound/outbound freight, staffing and scheduling.
• Supervise dockworkers, drivers and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulations.
• Develop processes to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Monitor freight integrity, damage control and documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch and transportation teams to meet timelines.
• Conduct regular facility audits and safety meetings.
• Train and evaluate terminal staff including 1099 contractors and W2 employees.
• Night shift from 6pm to 3am, Monday to Friday.
