Performance Food Group (New) is hosting a Cedar Rapids hiring event for a warehouse selector role. You will select cases and containers, fill customer orders, and move them safely to the shipping dock with a pallet jack or forklift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Move pallets using pallet jack/forklift and locate products per order sheets.
• Place stock onto pallets and prepare orders for shipment to dock.
• Operate equipment and complete shift paperwork as required.
• Perform other duties to support the department.
