Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Receiver/Checker for the Westfield, MA area. You will verify inbound shipments, record details, maintain counts, and support cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory.

The job runs on a second shift with a nightly differential, and offers training, weekly pay, and a full benefits package from day one. Working in a freezer environment, you will use RF gun technology and voice-picking tools to process items, while ensuring safety and quality throughout

Qualifications

• Six months of warehouse experience or more.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Experience with inventory and warehouse processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents against records to verify accuracy of incoming shipment.
• Record data into the system: weight, charges, space, damages, discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory through cycle counting and resolve shortages or overages.
• Monitor invoices in the warehouse management system.
• Label pallets and ensure inbound freight matches PO and bill of lading.
• Set up items/slots for efficient shipping and receiving; identify hazards.
