Job summary

Americold in Modesto is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to assemble and pick cases for store orders using Talkman and pallet jacks. The role requires operating in a freezer/cooler environment with safety-first procedures and accurate counting using RF scanning.

Shifts run 9 PM to 5:30 AM, five days on, two days off. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 80 lbs, and be comfortable working in a cold environment while meeting daily production standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and load the voice template into the Talkman unit for a specific warehouse selecting location.
• Secure selected cases, wrap and label pallets, and move assembled pallets to dock or staging area.
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards, maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Assist in general duties as needed to support production goals.
