Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Breakpack) for part-time night shifts in Hagerstown, MD. You will pick orders, pack totes, stock merchandise, and support the distribution center while training on the job for 3–8 weeks. The role operates Monday to Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM.

You’ll use RF scanners, voice-picking technologies, and various warehouse tools; lifting up to 70 lbs and working in warm environments is required. Benefits include weekly pay and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a schedule: Mon–Wed 7:00 PM–3:30 AM.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs and work at heights up to 30 ft.
• Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push/pull, twist, reach, climb.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain safe work practices.
• Basic English reading/writing; basic math and data entry.
• Attend and potentially work overtime as needed.
• Background check and drug screen; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and prep merchandise, stock product, and move totes/cases onto conveyor.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Stack pallets up to eight high in return bays.
• Use pallet pulling hook for stuck pallets (up to 50 lbs).
• Operate RF Scanners, Pick to Voice/Cart, computer terminals and related tools.
• Work in a hot environment (~95°F) at upper levels; adapt to seasonal temps.
• Assist in other departments as assigned.
