Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the Sanford, NC area on night shift. The role handles shipping, receiving, inventory control, and operation of forklifts and bulb crushing in a safety-focused environment.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with potential to work every other Friday night. Wage is $20/hr with benefits and growth opportunities in a large environmental services company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of warehouse or plant experience in a production environment preferred.
• 1+ years forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
• Responsible for drum, tote, and bin management, including unloading, organizing, documenting, and processing.
• Inventory control - maintain and report designated minimum and maximum inventory levels for reconditioned drums, oil filter bins, packaged antifreeze products, parts washer solvents, parts washer units, absorbent goods, PPE, and other designated assets stored within the warehouse.
• Shipping and receiving - receive, inspect, organize, and distribute inbounds goods, report shortages and damage immediately. Prepare and load outbound shipments including drums, totes, bins, packaged antifreeze, parts washer solvent, parts washers, absorbent goods and PPE.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift.
• Operate and maintain filter crushing equipment and bulk unloading equipment
• Responsible for preventative maintenance on filter crusher
• Unload bulk filter collection trucks/load processed filters
• Maintain housekeeping - filter crusher area and bulk filter unloading area
• Responsible for managing used oil generated from crushing operations
• Process all drummed used filters
• Responsible for facilities grounds maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
