Job summary

Silgan Containers in Ft. Smith, AR is seeking a warehouse worker for a night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will supply forming lines with materials, pack and warehouse products per specifications, and manage inventory tags.

Responsibilities include maintaining food safety, communicating between shifts, and performing duties on a 12-hour shift standing on concrete. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a non-temperature-controlled environment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Supplies forming lines with raw material and packaging supplies.
• Removes product from forming lines and printers.
• Loads pallet onto empty tipper.
• Completes inventory tags correctly and legibly.
• Warehouses product in accordance with requirements.
• Conducts all duties in accordance with plant safety requirements.
• Maintains effective communication between shifts.
• Responsible for food safety.
• Works 12-hour shifts standing on concrete.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Go up steps periodically throughout the day.
• Able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
