Job summary

US Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine PMs in a high-volume warehouse environment. The role supports both day and night operations, requiring alertness to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Overtime may apply as compensation grows with experience and location. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with building maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, and welding, with a strong emphasis on documentation and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred; trades training preferred.
• At least six months of mechanic experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair warehouse equipment (doors, HVAC, forklifts) to support day/night operations.
• Review maintenance reports and log actions taken.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep PM logs updated.
• Follow safety guidelines including lockout/tagout and safe work environment.
• Maintain battery charging area and tools inventory.
• Procure tools when authorized and perform light maintenance tasks.
