Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart in Omaha is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator to safely handle and move product within our warehouse, supporting a reliable, no-layoff culture. You will operate scanning equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle items, maintain safety standards, and verify inventory.

The role starts with a pay range of $17.85–$22.22 per hour plus a $4 shift differential, with Monday–Friday nights and weekends off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-year warehouse experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate picker equipment and Scan equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product.
• Handle product in a safe and secure manner following safety practices.
• Locate and return-to-stock, received goods and transferred product into appropriate areas.
• Report discrepancies and monitor daily progress, informing supervisor of issues.
