Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring for a Machine Operator to safely handle and transport goods within our warehouse. The role requires standing in high places at times, operating equipment, and working varied shifts including nights and weekends.

We offer a part-time position with competitive hourly pay. You will work with scans and equipment to locate, pick, and move products, ensuring accuracy and safety in all processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull with appropriate effort.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate picker and related scanning equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product.
• Handle and transport product safely; observe material handling safety practices.
• Locate and return-to-stock received goods and transferred product.
• Report discrepancies and maintain accountability of picked and binned products.
• Monitor daily progress and escalate issues to a supervisor.
