Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to optimize people, equipment and processes to minimize waste and costs. You will oversee budgeting, shipping documents, and safety training while guiding a team of permanent and temporary staff.

You’ll monitor performance, coordinate with the Logistics Manager and ensure consistent shipping, receiving and storage across locations, while maintaining inventory accuracy and timely counts.

Qualifications

• Completion of college degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience within the Food Manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Navision is an asset.
• Forklift Operator Certification preferred.
• Effective stress management skills, with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety requirements.
• Deadline oriented with ability to work with urgency.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portion of the budget that contributes to day-to-day activities and ensure it is maintained.
• Ensure completion of Bill of Lading (BOL), invoices and other shipping documents.
• Provide workplace orientation training for permanent and/or temporary workers (health & safety, GMPs).
• Monitor worker performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Maintain communication with the Logistics Manager and issue performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Ensure consistency across locations regarding shipping, receiving, delivery and storage.
• Pick orders for delivery and verify product and quantities.
• Stack and store products in appropriate areas.
• Move product from storage to trucks, ensuring accuracy and no damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve discrepancies across departments.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
