Job summary

Penske Logistics is looking for a Lead Warehouse Worker to join our Princeton, Indiana operation. You will lead a team, support supervisors, and help ensure safety, productivity, and accuracy in daily warehouse tasks.

The role requires forklift operation, inventory control, and the use of a warehouse management system. Overtime and night shifts are possible to meet business needs. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

4 years of warehouse experience.
2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred.
2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals while championing safety and productivity.
Executes assignments, provides status updates, and project visibility to Operations Supervisors.
Operate forklifts, counterbalance, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
Stage and sort products; loads and unloads trailers.
Stack totes or pallets; move materials within the warehouse.
Use a warehouse management system to scan and track products.
Maintain quality control and identify damaged products at receipt or before shipment.
Complete daily logs and communicate with other shifts or departments.
